Affiliate disclosure

Amazon Associates

CheckPet is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn fees by linking to Amazon.com and affiliated sites.

When you click an Amazon link on a CheckPet guide and complete a qualifying purchase, we may earn a commission. Your price is the same whether or not you use our link.

Where affiliate links appear

• Buying guides (scene pages) — After measure tables and fit rules, we link to specific Amazon product detail pages (/dp/ URLs) we verified at publish time.
• Homepage and category hubs — These pages help you find guides. They do not send you straight to Amazon; open the guide first for context and verified picks.
• Footer — May remind you that the site is affiliate-supported; detailed rules are on this page.

How we choose products

We do not rank products by commission rate. A product earns a link in a guide only when it:

• Fits the measure / life-stage / size rules in that article
• Has a live Amazon detail page we can link to (we do not use Amazon search-result URLs as product links)
• Matches what we describe in the guide — you should still confirm flavor, size, and specs on the listing before ordering

Guides can become outdated if Amazon changes ASINs, packaging, or availability. We update articles when we find material mismatches; always trust the live listing over an older screenshot.

How we mark links

Amazon links in our guides typically use rel="sponsored nofollow noopener", open in a new tab, and include our Associates tracking parameter. Sponsored links are disclosed here and near monetized content on each guide.

What we are not

• CheckPet is not veterinary, medical, or pet-training advice. Talk to your veterinarian for health, diet, or behavior decisions.
• We are not owned by brands we link to. Manufacturers do not pay us to write guides.
• We do not guarantee a product will work for your pet — our job is to spell out fit checks and common failures so you waste fewer returns.

Prices, taxes, and availability

Prices, shipping, coupons, and stock change on Amazon without notice. Images and bullets on a listing can disagree; when they do, we treat the main product photo and spec table as what you should verify before purchase.

Other programs

Today our monetized links are primarily Amazon US. If we add other retailers or programs, we will update this page and label those links clearly.

Analytics

We use analytics (for example Google Analytics via Google Tag Manager) to understand which guides are useful, including when readers click outbound retailer links. See our privacy policy for cookie and data choices.
